Danae Kim, CPA, founder of Kim & Associates, established her practice after having worked several years in large Albuquerque-based CPA firms, where she acquired valuable expertise in several industries.  However, she had a strong desire to build a firm that would allow her the opportunity to personaly get to know her clients and give them the service that best fit their needs. Danae’s audit experience includes non-profit, corporate, and government entities, alongside several years of experience preparing taxes for individuals and businesses of all sizes and industries. She enjoys getting to know her clients so that she may understand their personal and business goals. She then applies her knowledge of the constantly evolving tax laws to offer personalized tax and financial strategies, assisting her clients in navigating their way toward achieving their objectives.

While Danae is a generalist, her favorite industries to work with include closely-held businesses, physicians, attorneys, real estate professionals, local retail, and locally owned restaurants, bars and breweries. Danae enjoys working with business owners on their business and individual tax returns. She evaluates each clients’ financial picture, and customizes her recommendations so that she may offer a proactive approach to their tax and financial considerations, ultimately allowing the owners to achieve their goals.
